Post number 500 to the blog went by without me noticing it, but I feel it’s worth making note of, as I did when I passed four hundred posts back in October of 2014. For the most part, I’ve been able to keep up a weekly post schedule since then, a fact of which I am fairly proud. It’s been a fun journey for me.
In the real world, I’ve stayed employed in the same position with the same employer, though my responsibilities have changed. I have moved, bought a new car, sold the old car (and will hopefully soon have sold the old place), and become father to a second child – another girl.
The blog has gone from being very technical, focused on tips and tricks, to having a broader focus (though the tips and tricks remain a staple of the posts). I have started two initiatives, TBT and BTS, that have both remained dormant since last year. While I think I will leave BTS by the wayside, TBT will come back from time to time, in some fashion or another.
But yeah, more than five hundred posts. It feels good. Here’s to the next milestone, and the one after that, and the one after that…
