Posting Netatmo data to Weather Underground

I am a big believer in the principle of putting information out there, for the world to see. This blog is part of pursuing the goal of achieving just that. It made sense to me, then, to ensure that the data from my weather station would be made available to as many people as possible.

I’ve had a Netatmo weather station ever since we last moved, about three years ago. The ability to monitor weather conditions, as well as the way it monitors the indoor conditions (such as concentrations of CO2) has been very beneficial to me.

I also like sharing the data generated with the world at large. While the data is available from Netamo, the idea of adding it to a larger database holds great appeal to me. Imagine my delight, then, when I found that I could add the data from my weather station to all the other data featured on Weather Underground.

While that is a perfectly good how-to, there is one thing which I would have changed; the fact that it points to a personal address, rather than a SPOC. I asked, and was told that the appropriate address would be support@wunderground.com or help@wunderground.com.
